alarm systems for small business

Well after 2 years I went to cancel and I was told I was in a 60 month contract. 12 month vs 60 months is a huge difference. When I pulled out my contract it sure did say 60 months. I never EVER would have knowingly signed a 5 year contract. My contract has now been sold to APT. Alarm Protection Technology and they refuse to cancel my contract unless I'd like to pay 90% of the term or transfer it to someone else.

A built in spotlight also enables color recording at night, and it has dual microphones for better audio. Plus, the Arlo Ultra’s base station will be compatible with the company’s smart home security kit, due out later this year. All of this will cost you, though: A single camera with the hub is $399, and extra cameras are $299 each. And if you want to save 4K videos, it’s an extra $1. 99 per camera per month, on top of the $9. 99 monthly plan, the latter of which is waived for the first year. Read our full Arlo Ultra Review.

THE COST FOR SECURITY There are two costs to keep in mind when shopping for a home security system. The first is for the equipment and the installation, if you’re having it done by a professional. It can run from a few hundred dollars for a basic installation or less that half of that if you install it yourself to north of $1000 for a full feature system with specialized sensors and wireless smoke and CO detectors. The second is the monthly service charge that includes fees for software driven features and central station monitoring. It typically ranges between $35 and $60 per month. Some dealers, much like mobile phone and cable TV companies, will reduce the installation cost in return for a multi year contract. This indoor/outdoor camera also includes the convenience of two way audio, meaning there’s a built in mic and speaker that lets you hear and respond to someone on the other end. All recordings are automatically stored in the cloud for seven days for free. The Arlo Pro 2 system is compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, and you’ll be able to view video in real time just by saying a simple command out loud. Using IFTTT or Samsung SmartThings instead? The camera works with those platforms, too, unlike the EufyCam. And conveniently, you won’t have to deal with any pesky wires, since this camera is wire free.
